The frame structure serves as the foundation of the garden cart; typically constructed from steel, galvanized steel, or aluminum alloy, it supports the vehicle's weight and connects its various components. Frames are usually assembled via welding or bolting, with some models incorporating reinforcing ribs to enhance load-bearing capacity and resistance to deformation, thereby accommodating the transport of materials of varying weights.

 

The cargo container constitutes the primary working area of ​​the garden cart and generally comes in two forms: a hopper (or bucket) style and a flatbed style. The hopper style is suitable for transporting loose or bulk materials-such as soil, fertilizer, sand, gravel, and plant debris-and often features a tipping design for rapid unloading. In contrast, the flatbed style is designed for transporting items like flowerpots, toolboxes, and regularly shaped gardening equipment, offering greater flexibility and versatility.

 

The mobility system, comprising the wheels and their supporting structures, is critical to the cart's maneuverability and stability. Designs typically utilize pneumatic rubber tires or wide solid tires to navigate challenging terrains such as lawns, muddy ground, and gravel paths. Larger wheel diameters and wider tire contact patches effectively reduce the risk of sinking into soft soil while enhancing stability during movement and improving shock absorption.

 

Operating components primarily consist of handles or push-pull bars used to control the cart's direction and movement. Handle designs usually adhere to ergonomic principles to minimize operator fatigue and improve comfort. Some models also feature tipping mechanisms, braking systems, or detachable components to boost functionality and convenience, making them better suited for a wide range of gardening tasks.
