Conducting a basic inspection before using a garden vehicle is a crucial operational prerequisite. This includes checking that the battery is sufficiently charged, tire pressure is normal, brakes are responsive, the steering mechanism is secure, and lights and the horn are fully functional. If any irregularities are detected, use of the vehicle must be suspended immediately and repairs requested; operating a faulty vehicle is prohibited. Additionally, the driver must ensure there are no obstacles in the vehicle's path, particularly when navigating narrow roads or turning.

Speed must be strictly controlled during operation; generally, the vehicle should be driven slowly, avoiding sudden acceleration or braking. Drivers should slow down before turning to prevent skidding or tipping caused by shifts in the center of gravity. When driving within the facility or in areas with high pedestrian traffic, drivers must proactively yield to pedestrians and maintain a safe distance. Overloading or carrying passengers in violation of regulations is prohibited, as this compromises vehicle stability and braking performance.

When parking, choose level ground and avoid slopes or soft terrain. Bring the vehicle to a complete stop before engaging the parking brake and turning off the power switch. For extended periods of inactivity, remove the key or disconnect the power to prevent accidental operation. For electric garden vehicles, regular charging is essential to prevent battery over-discharge, which can reduce the battery's lifespan.

Operators typically require basic training before commencing work to familiarize themselves with vehicle controls and emergency procedures. For instance, in an emergency, the operator should immediately release the accelerator and apply the brake while remaining calm and assessing the surroundings. Proper operation not only extends the vehicle's service life but also effectively ensures the safety of personnel and equipment.
